This article will show you how to start a scheduled inspection on the mobile app.
Starting a Scheduled Inspection
You will receive a notification on your mobile device on the specified day and time of when the scheduled inspection is due to start.
Tap on the notification and this will take you to the Dashboard screen of the app and you will see the Scheduled Inspection Card displayed under the Schedule heading.
You will need to be logged into the mobile app to receive notifications. If you have created an inspection schedule, its is recommended that you do not log out of the app but send the app to the background when you have completed your inspection, as this will ensure you will receive your notifications. |
To start the scheduled inspection, tap on the Scheduled Inspection Card at the top of the screen and a pop up will appear and then tap on the Start Schedule button and you will then be taken to the Inspection Details screen which will then take you to the inspection screen.
Continuing a Scheduled Inspection
After starting the scheduled inspection on the dashboard, the same inspection card is also generated on the Inspection List.
If you failed to complete the scheduled inspection and closed the app to return to it at a later time, you are able to access the same Scheduled Inspection from either the Dashboard or My Inspections.
After signing off and completing your scheduled inspection, the Inspection Card will be removed from the Dashboard, however the Inspection card on My Inspections will remain and you will be able to access the completed inspection from the inspection list if need be.
