| All inspections are stored in the cloud, therefore you are able to start an inspection on the web app and continue it on the mobile app and vice versa. The changes you make during an inspection on one platform will automatically sync to the other platform in real-time. |
Mobile App
You are able to start a New Racking Inspection (unscheduled) from any screen of the mobile app where the feature menu is visible.
Tap the Plus button on the feature menu, then tap New Racking Inspection. This will take you to the Inspection Details screen.
Inspection Details screen
This screen allows you to choose where you would like to start a new inspection if your site has more than one warehouse or more than one area. The default is always set at All Areas but for convenience, the radio buttons to the left allow you to filter where you would like to start the inspection in a specific warehouse or a specific area.
Site
If you are a multi-site user, you can choose the site you want to inspect by tapping on the site dropdown and you will be taken to another screen where you will choose a site from the list.
Start Inspection
To start the inspection, tap on the Start Inspection button and you will be taken to the Inspection screen.
| In some instances, the Start Inspection button may be greyed out and you will not be able to start an inspection. This will happen when the site you want to inspect has an ongoing inspection or if the site blueprint is in build mode and the layout of your warehouse is getting altered. The site field above the warehouses will detail whether a site has an ongoing inspection or if a site is in build mode. |
Continue Inspection
If you leave the inspection before completing it and later want to continue where you left off, simply go to the Inspections list and tap the inspection card to show the options pop up. Then tap the blue Continue Inspection button at the bottom.
You will be taken to the Inspection Details screen again but this time you will be able to see the progress of your inspection. Each warehouse and the area within the warehouse has its own progress bar which will fill up during the inspection.
Web App
To start a new inspection, go to the inspections page. Tap on the blue New Inspection button at the top right corner of the screen. The Start New Inspection window will appear. Tap on the Start button and you will be taken to the inspection screen to begin your inspection.
