This article will show you how to complete a partial inspection.
Partial Inspection
A Partial Inspection is similar to that of a standard inspection. However, you have the ability to complete an inspection without confirming you have inspected all racks within each area of a warehouse or warehouses, if you have more than 1 warehouse in your site. As per screenshot below, you have 1 warehouse on your site, W / house 1 and you have 2 areas, Finished Goods and Goods Out.
Say, you want to only inspect the racks within the Finished Goods area, all you need to do is ensure that all racks within the Finished Goods area have been inspected with each rack having a yellow progress bar under the rack name.
As you will see in the screenshot below, all racks within the Finished Goods area have been inspected and the Finished Goods area name appears with a yellow background. There is also a yellow tick to the right of the Finished Goods area dropdown header to indicate all racks within that area have been inspected.
To complete the Partial Inspection all you need to do is tap on the Grey Tick button at the top corner of the inspection screen and this will take you to the Inspection Details page where you will see the Complete Partial Inspection button. You will also see that the progress bar to the right on the Finished Goods area is full.
Tap on the Complete Partial Inspection button and it will prompt you to confirm that you want to complete a partial inspection. Tap the Yes button and you will be taken to the digital signature screen where you will sign off the inspection.
As long as you have inspected at least 1 rack you are able to complete a partial inspection and the Complete Partial Inspection button will be visible on the Inspection Details screen. |
Inspection Damage Report
When you complete a Partial Inspection the inspection report will look a little different than what it would look like if you completed full standard inspection as there will be an Inspected Racks heading above the Damage table.
As you see in the above screenshot, the racks within W / house 1 - Finished Goods area, have a Green Tick below the rack name. All other racks that weren’t inspected have a Red Cross below the rack name to indicate that these racks weren’t inspected (the 2 racks within the Goods Out area).
Partial Inspection Blueprint
When viewing a completed partial inspection blueprint, the racks which you didn’t inspect will be displayed at a reduced opacity to signify that these racks didn’t get inspected. As you will see on the screenshot below, Racks A and B in the Goods Out area didn’t get inspected, therefore these racks are displayed in reduced opacity.
