How to edit an action

This article will show you how to edit an action.

Editing an action can only be done when the action has not been started and the status of the action is at To Do.

To edit an action, simply tap on the action card and the pop up will appear and select Edit Action. You will be taken to the Edit Action screen where you will be able to change the Assignee, the Due Date and turn on or off the Photo Evidence toggle.

Assignee

To change the assignee, tap on CHANGE to the right of the assignee name and you will be taken to a list with all your organisations users. Under the PRRS User Type heading, tap on a radio button to the left of the user you want to assign the action to and tap “X” on the top left corner. You will go back to the Edit Action screen and you will see the user name has been changed.

Due Date

To change the due date, tap on EDIT to the right of the existing due date and a calendar will pop up. Change the due date and then tap confirm and the calendar will disappear and you will see the due date has been changed on the Assign Action screen.

Photo Evidence Required

If you want photo evidence required when carrying out the repairs, tap on the toggle to turn it on. When closing out a repair with Photo Evidence required you will be asked to take an image as proof that the damage component has been replaced.

Save Changes

After making your changes, be sure to tap on SAVE at the top right corner of the screen. To return to the action list tap on the back button at the top left corner of the screen.

After making your changes and you forget to tap SAVE and you tap on the back button a confirmation prompt will appear. Tap on the Cancel button and the prompt will disappear and then tap on SAVE.

If you don’t want to save your changes tap on the Discard button and you will be taken back to the action list.
