This article will show you how to archive an inspection on the web and mobile app.
Web app
Archiving inspections is a way to keep your inspections list tidy. You can keep inspections that are currently relevant in your Inspections list, whilst moving less relevant inspections to the Archived tab.
You are only able to archive a completed inspection not an incomplete inspection. |
Hover your cursor over a row in the inspection list and the option buttons will appear. Tap on the red Archive button and the inspection will be moved into the list of archived inspections in the Archived tab.
You are also able to archive an inspection by selecting the tickbox at the far left of the row. The tickboxes on the left of each row in the list allow you to select multiple inspections so that you can apply functionality to more than one inspection at a time. After selecting a tickbox, the Archive button at the top right of the inspection list will turn blue and become active. Tap on the blue Archive button and inspection will be moved into the list of archived inspections in the Archived tab.
Restore
You are able to Restore an archived inspection back to the inspection list by hovering over the row and tapping on the green Restore button or by selecting the tickbox at the far left of the row, and tapping on the blue Restore button at the top right of the list.
Delete
You are able to Delete an archived inspection by hovering over the row and tapping on the red Delete button or by selecting the tickbox at the far left of the row, and tapping on the red Delete button at the top right of the list.
Mobile app
To archive an inspection, tap on a completed inspection and a pop up will appear. Tap on Archive and you will be prompted to confirm you would like to archive the inspection. Tap the blue Yes button and the inspection card will be removed from the list and moved into the list of archived inspection on the web app.
