This article will give you an overview of Econform's Isolated Rack Damage Inspection type.
Reactive damage is damage that might have been brought to your attention by a forklift truck driver who accidentally hit a racking upright or beam.
You would want to capture this damage and the easiest way to input this rack damage into the system would be to do this with an Isolated Rack Damage inspection.
You are able to start an Isolated Rack Damage inspection from any screen of the mobile app where the feature menu is visible.
- Tap the Plus button on the feature menu, then tap Isolated Rack Damage. This will take you to the Inspection Details screen.
- After choosing your area, tap on the Start Inspection button and you will be taken to the Inspection screen.
You only need to add 1 piece of damage (damage classification) for the grey tick on the inspection screen to turn yellow. |
Add Damage
When you have added your new reactive damage classification, the grey tick in the top right corner of the inspection screen will turn Yellow. Tapping on the Yellow Tick will take you to the Inspection Details screen where you will see the quantity of damage added to the right of your warehouse or area.
Inspection Details (after adding damage)
To complete the inspection, tap the Complete Inspection button and you will be taken to the inspection sign off screen to mark the inspection as complete. After signing off you will be taken to the Assign Action screen where you will be required to fill in the details to assign the action associated with that inspection.
Isolated Rack Damage Blueprint
When viewing a completed isolated rack damage inspection blueprint, the racks which you didn’t add damage to will be displayed at a reduced opacity to signify that these racks didn’t get inspected. As you will see on the screenshot below, reactive damage was added to Rack A in the Goods Out area area and all the other racks are displayed in a reduced opacity.
