Blueprint overview (Web)

This article will give you an overview of the blueprint and its features on the web app.

The web app’s blueprint layout is a representation of your racking layout where you can view any damage that has been added during your racking inspections. The mobile app blueprint is identical to the web app blueprint but only with fewer features.

The blueprint is accessible from the Dashboard, the Site Overview page, and also when conducting an Inspection and closing out an Action.

Racking Layout

When carrying out the initial site set up, the Econform app builds a representation of your site, detailing the Racks within a specific Area of a Warehouse within the site.

Blueprint Header

To the right of your organisation logo you can see the name of the site you are currently viewing. To the right of site name you have the Damage Filter and Blueprint Navigation buttons. You can go to that site’s overview by tapping on the Site Overview button.

Damage Filters

To the right of the site name are the damage filter dropdown menus. You can choose to filter the damage indicators by Component or by Risk.

Tapping on Filter by Component opens a dropdown menu that allows you to specify which type of damage you want to you show, and by default, this is set to "All". These components are divided into Beam and Frame Components as well as Miscellaneous Damage. You can select one component at a time by tapping on the radio button to the left of the component name. When you are done filtering, be sure to select "All" at the top of the menu to reset the filter.

Tapping on Filter by Risk opens a dropdown menu that allows you to specify which category of risk classification you want to show, and by default, this is set to “All”. You can choose to show only damage with Red, Amber or Green risk classifications (or a mix of the three) by selecting the tick boxes to the left. If you select all of them, “All” is automatically ticked. When you are done filtering, be sure to select "All" at the top of the menu to reset the filter.

Navigation Buttons

The navigation buttons on the toolbar allow you to navigate the blueprint canvas. Tap on either the Pan or Zoom Window buttons and the button will turn white and become active. To remove the functionality, tap on the button again and the button will turn back to blue in colour.

Pan

The pan tool shifts the view without changing the viewing direction or magnification. Press the left mouse button down over the blueprint and drag it to a new location.

Zoom Window

This option is useful for zooming in quickly and precisely. Use this tool to select an area you want to zoom in to. Click the left mouse button down and drag to draw a box around the area you wish to focus on. When you release the left mouse button, the view will resize to fit your selection.

Zoom Extents

Tapping the Zoom Extents button zooms out just far enough to show all racks in the current blueprint.

Blueprint Footer

If you have multiple warehouses within your site, you can select which warehouse to view tapping the tabs.

Damage Indicators

When you add damage during an inspection a Damage Indicator will be added onto the blueprint as a dot with a colour that corresponds to a Red, Amber, Green risk damage classification. For instance, if you add Green Risk front upright and baseplate damage on Rack A, location 03/04, the damage indicator will be displayed on the specified area of the rack. The number inside the Damage Indicator specifies how many pieces of damage has been added within that given area of the rack.

If you have more than one classification added to the same area within a rack, the damage indicator colour displays the classification with the highest risk. For example, if you had green risk damage to a front baseplate and amber risk damage to the front upright, the colour status indicator would be amber in colour.

Damage Classification

Tap on a Damage Indicator on the blueprint and it will bring up the Damage Classification detailing the information relating to the damage component.

Archival Blueprint

After completing any inspection, whether that be a full, partial or isolated rack damage inspection, you are able to access the blueprint at any time via the inspection list.

When an inspection is completed, a snapshot is taken of the blueprint so you can revisit the blueprint at any given time and you will be able to see the layout and any damage associated with that inspection at the time the inspection was completed.
